My practice is rooted in a lifelong attraction to sun-drenched coastlines, open water, and the quiet freedom of escapism. Each painting distills the atmosphere of travel - the heat on skin, the softness of tropical light, and the feeling that comes with being far away from home. What began as a simple act of care—something to steady my mind and give me space—slowly became a passion I can’t imagine living without. My aim is to create paintings that feel like an escape, to give you that gut feeling of nostalgia, warm, inviting and saturated with memory. Recurring motifs such as palm trees, single figures and aircraft reflect my fascination with movement, wanderlust and the spaces that exist between places. Whether inspired by beaches real or imagined, my work celebrates the beauty of coastal life and my enduring desire to return to it again and again.
